Tony Fisch | 6312 Arrowhead Place | 11-2-2013 A few months back I had several meetings (with candidates for CD4) in a rather short time.  I was getting tired of the meetings, but knew they were important. In the last of these meetings I met with candidate Tomas O’Grady.  By the time Tomas left my home I was in a state of miss belief.  I asked Tomas to come back to meet my wife Rio. Tomas is a self-made businessman that came to this country from Ireland with $80 in his pocket.  Tomas and his family live in Los Feliz.  Tomas has exercised fiscal discipline in all areas of his life and He lives in the environmentally conscious home that he built. EnrichLA, the nonprofit that he co-founded, builds edible gardens and green spaces on a shoe-string budget, delivering a high-quality, low-cost product to the customers – the customers ( ads he like to put it) being the children in schools throughout the LAUSD. After talking with Tomas for an hour and a half, Rio and I realized that Tomas O’Grady would make a great Council-member. In addition to passion, amazing energy and fearlessness what blew us away was a commitment from Tomas to help us with neighborhood issues now.
